A veritable institution on the Central Coast, the family of Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets will be celebrating 45 years in 2021.

Despite a tumultuous year due to the pandemic including closing one market and moving to a new location, we have survived! We deeply appreciate our market customers who have weathered the many changes we have had to implement, from market hours to dire warnings about wearing masks and social distancing. A year ago, the term ‘social distancing’ didn’t exist unless it was in the context of avoiding someone doing something undesirable that we didn’t want any part of! Our primary goal this past year was to provide a safe shopping experience for both our customers and vendors. Thank you for helping us do that.

While we don’t know what the future holds for us just yet, we are looking forward to a better year with the sincere hope of our country recovering from the pandemic and our lives returning to a more normal, familiar lifestyle. As we move forward, we are anticipating more changes to our farmers’ markets. We will keep you posted as we know more.

In the meantime, thank you for supporting our markets for the past 45 years! We look forward to serving our community for many years to come.
