In order to fulfill our mission of enhancing the health and well-being of our community and supporting family farmers and sustainable food systems, the MBCFM is looking for financial support from local businesses, organizations and individuals to help us implement our programs.
Becoming a sponsor of the MBCFM is a great way to support one of our community’s most vital organizations and become associated with all of the wonderful values associated with the premier farmers markets on the Central Coast.
You can be the sponsor one of the programs or special events listed below, or become a general sponsor to help support on-going operations. Sponsor a Program:
1. CafE Sponsor at the Aptos Farmers Market
The café area will have umbrellas, and tables and chairs where people can visit with friends over tea or coffee and something good to eat. The market continues to grow in popularity as a destination for locals and tourists. The café will further add to the shoppers’ experience.

• Year-round exposure to thousands of visitors each week. During the peak growing season, attendance at the market reaches five thousand weekly

2. Information Booth & Merchandising Sponsor at the
Aptos Farmers Market
The Information Booth concierge will welcome shoppers, provide answers such as where to find certain products and vendors, sell signature tote bags and calendars and take sign-ups for our newsletter. A concierge will graciously answer questions and help orient new visitors to our market.

3. Shop with the Chef Sponsor
Shop with the Chef is held the second Saturday of every month from May through November at the Aptos Farmers Market. It attracts a large crowd and the signage will be seen by all market visitors.

• Exposure at the market from May through November. During the peak growing season, attendance at the market reaches four to five thousand people weekly.
• Prominent signage at the market the day of each event

4. Can You Dig It! Sponsor
Can You Dig It!, the popular workshop for gardeners, is held the third Saturday of every month from April through November at the Aptos Farmers Market.

The website and Edible Paradise, our monthly eNewsletter are vital links between the farming community and consumers. We educate the public about our local food system and help people develop greater connections between consumers and local farmers and vendors. Our communications provide fresh, interesting and useful information about food and nutrition, and promote upcoming events and sponsors.
