The Lavender Sisterhood, a group of lively ladies from the Mid-County Senior Center, will be joining the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College on Saturday, November 5 during market hours, 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. They will be selling a wide variety of handcrafted lavender items including eye pillows, potpourri, sachets, fragrant lavender wands, small bags of culinary lavender, lavender-infused sugar, fresh lavender bouquets, and masks. This is the perfect time to shop for a favorite gardening friend or anyone who appreciates quality, handmade items. Arrive early for the best selection!

The Lavender Sisterhood takes care of the community garden at the Mid-County Senior Center in Capitola. Using organic methods, they grow several fragrant lavender varieties. After the lavender flowers are harvested and dried, the group makes their handcrafted items to sell at fundraisers. The sales benefit the garden and MCSC.
