Pulido Farms, Jurevich Farm and B & R Farms will have fresh Blenheim apricots for sale this month — Blenheims are the gold standard for apricots with their luscious, honey-like flavor. There are no other apricots like them — and unfortunately, Blenheim apricot production is on the decline in California due to foreign imports of Turkish apricots. Blenheim apricots are delicious to eat out of hand or to make into jam or preserves.
Locally grown and milled grains are now available at T & L Coke Farm, including organic rye flour, semolina, wheat flour, and corn meal (coarse and fine ground).
