Become a Friend of the Market
If you are unable to volunteer time, tax deductible donations are greatly appreciated to help support our programs, website, newsletter and events. Few realize that the operating budget for running all of our farmers markets comes entirely from the booth and membership fees paid by the farmers and vendors. This year, our budget has been reduced due to the number of farmers whose crops were affected by the recent freeze. Rather than raise booth fees to cover our increased costs, we feel this is the time to stand "shoulder to shoulder" and help one another.
High on our wish list is to purchase a portable PA system with a wireless microphone for our Shop with the Chef cooking demonstration program and the Can You Dig It gardening program.
