The Aptos Farmers Market and the Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) Farmers Market offer convenient knife and garden tool sharpening. Drop off your knives, garden tools and scissors to be sharpened while you shop!

Here are the easiest and safest ways to transport your knives:

  • Wrap knives in a dishtowel or newspaper
  • Place in a cardboard box or plastic container
  • Place in a paper grocery bag or a reusable grocery bag (taking care to not have any knives poking through the sides)
  • Transport the knives in the knife block they are stored in

After sharpening, knife edges will be taped and the knives re-wrapped so they can be safely transported back to your kitchen.

MPC FARMERS MARKET
Craig Chadwick of Restoration Edge Sharpening Services is at the MPC market every week on Fridays, 10am until 2 pm.

Restoration Edge is a family owned and operated mobile sharpening service providing customers with precise, high-quality edges using state of the art sharpening equipment to create the sharpest possible edge on every blade sharpened.

In addition to knife sharpening, Restoration Edge sharpens cleavers, hand pruners, loppers, hedge trimmers, chisels, wood-working tools, axes and hatchets, shovels and hoes. They also do scissors and shears, including pinking shears.
