Products: Cut flowers; fruits including apples, peaches, plums, avocadoes, lemons; fresh herbs and produce including basil, cilantro, dill, dandelion greens, fennel, parsley; produce beets, cabbage, carrots, chard, eggplant, Italian beans, kale, lettuce, peppers, potatoes, radicchio, and spinach.

History/Philosophy: The farm has been in operation since 1981 on Ocean Street and since 1990 at Rancho Del Oso. Our philosophy is that growing a widely diversified mix of crops enables us to take care of the land by rotating crops, and to create ecological stability in order to control pests and diseases. We strive to provide an abundance of good food for the body and soul in a way that is economical, ecological and culturally sustainable.

Certifications: USDA Certified Organic.

Farmland: Total of 82 acres. 18 acres on Ocean Street along San Lorenzo River, 40 acres on Rancho del Oso along Wadell Creek and 24 acres on Martinelli Ranch on the cliffs near Davenport.

Soil: We mix our own soil specific to what we are planting.
